All meals from lunch on the first day to lunch on the last day, you will enjoy a delicious mix of traditional Colombian flavors, typical dishes of the region, snacks, fruits. And if you are vegetarian or vegan, or are allergic to certain foods that is not a problem for the chef who will accompany you every day.

During the tour you will visit different camps that have been built by local families, which will be pleasant to sleep and have a pleasant time. In them you will find hammocks and beds, equipped with mosquito nets, blankets and pillows.
Contribution to the Communities: Always looking for improvements and development of indigenous and peasant communities, all receiving a contribution generated thanks to the tourist activity carried out in the region.

Transportation from the city of Santa Marta, in 4x4 vehicles or Vans driven by experienced drivers, who will take you from the city to the first stop where the walk will begin, located 2 hours from the city.
With us you can make the tour safely at all times you will be covered by travel insurance, in the office you will receive all the information corresponding to the travel insurance we offer.
Entrance to the Archaeological Park: The Teyuna Archaeological Park is managed by the Colombian Institute of Anthropology and History (ICANH). The entrance fee to the archaeological park is included in the tour.
Important About Water:
For the first day of your adventure, please ensure you carry at least 2 liters of water. Once you reach Camps 1, 2, and 3, you'll have access to safe drinking water via filters. Simply bring and refill your personal water bottles at each camp.

Itinerario | The Lost City Trek 3 Days
Your adventure begins bright and early at 5:00 AM, when we pick you up from your accommodation in Santa Marta.
Buckle up for an epic 3 hours 4×4 ride through the rugged terrain of the Sierra Nevada, where every twist and turn reveals the untamed beauty of Colombia's mountains.

Our first stop? El Mamey, where you’ll fuel up with a hearty local breakfast—perfect preparation for what lies ahead.
​
Next, hop on a thrilling motorcycle ride along unpaved paths, a journey through raw wilderness that brings you to Vista Hermosa Camp.
​
From here, it’s time to lace up your boots for an awe-inspiring 7.6 km trek (approximately 3 hours) to Mumake Camp, where stunning views and the whispers of nature accompany your every step.
​
At Mumake Camp, enjoy a well-deserved, delicious lunch before continuing on an exhilarating 4-hour hike to Camp 3, immersing yourself in the vibrant flora and fauna of this sacred land.
​
As evening falls, arrive at Camp 3, where you’ll find cozy beds and modern comforts (think showers, toilets, and electricity available at the camp).
Wrap up your first day by sharing stories over a flavorful local dinner, surrounded by the camaraderie of fellow adventurers.

If you are vegan, vegetarian or you have any dietary restrictions, it is important that you notify this when you are booking the tour.

If you have additional luggage or backpacks that you are not going to take to the tour, you can store it in our agency and collect it when you return, or if you go to another place such as palomino or tayrona park you can store it in the storage of the restaurant where you will have lunch the first day and pick it up on your return .

You can bring with you the chargers of your electronic devices, and if you have a powerbank you can bring it.

Bring a 1.5 liter bottle of water for the first day, you should keep the bottle because we have drinking water filters in each camp, it is free so you can refill your bottle every day.

Bring what is necessary to spend 3, 4 or 5 days in the mountains according to the tour you are booking.

If you come with children, consult your agency advisor so that you receive all the information about it.

Take care of your food the day before the tour, avoid foods that can cause indigestion, intoxication or other adverse reactions, also avoid getting drunk. This can be inconvenient to have a good experience.

Wear comfortable clothes to do the walk in a comfortable and pleasant way, because the temperature can be a little high sometimes, and humidity is also a reason. As well you can bring a sweater and long pants to wear at night.

Remember that it is an ecological destination, and the camps have been adapted with the most basic to give you a pleasant experience.
